Linda: GSI Participant of the Month
Congratulations to Linda for being our June GSI Participant of the Month!
Linda has been with Good Soil Industries for a while, and last week was her final week working with the team. During her time here, she was the only woman in an all-men’s team. She believes she was not treated any differently than the men and has the mindset that women can do anything men can do.
She loves the physical labor side of work and stated that in this field, “90% of the time you are going to find men, but you know what, us women can do it, too, we can’t just say that though, we have to show it. So, if you think you can do it, go out and try it!”
Linda is a great example of demonstrating that women can work in physical labor jobs. She is a tough person who has proven to herself and others that she can do this kind of work. She has always been a hands-on person who has been motivated to be a part of the full process that goes into lawn care work.
Linda has genuinely loved her job and her team, and was sad to be leaving. However, we’re excited for this next chapter in her life and thank Linda for her time with us at GSI!
