Welcome Home, Martha!
We first met Martha when she was referred to us by Pacific Clinics. She was evicted from her previous unit in Bell and had been couch surfing in Bellflower for 3 months while pregnant. After the intake process, our housing team began searching for a new home for Martha and soon found one. KCB assisted with her first month’s rent and security deposit to help secure her movie-in. Thankfully, Martha has a housing voucher to help her with her rent. We’re so grateful for God’s provision in helping us find Martha a home before her expected due date in August. We wish her all the best as she transitions to living in her new home.
How to pray for Martha:
Pray that she has a smooth delivery of her baby and that her baby is healthy.
Pray that she’ll be covered with support by her community.
Pray that the Lord blesses her and her new home.
Welcome Home, Janet!
The journey to housing for Janet began when she was first connected to our outreach team. In partnership with PATH, they were able to find a unit for Janet and cover her security deposit and first month’s rent. Our housing team helped assist with utilities and appliances. During her move-in, we were able to meet her needs by providing her with a new refrigerator and stove. Our team has continued to assist her in other ways, too, by setting up utilities and paying deposits and installation fees. We look forward to walking along side her as she navigates living on her own.

Pray that she is connected to a supportive community.
Pray that she’ll thrive in her new home.
Pray that the Lord will continue to give her courage to seek and ask for help when she needs it.
